Anyway, thank you for the compliments ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ and the suggestions! I’ve kept them in mind when drawing since you sent this, and the reason why I tend to keep things under detailed is because I’m afraid of over detailing (does that make sense?) as in adding so much detail that the subject becomes lost. 

I’m gonna live up to your hopes and dreams soon anon, I’ve been working on fleshing out some of my favorite OC’s.

It’s difficult to get a good picture of her because she moves so fast, and her fur often shows up as a fluffy black blob.

I made a thread on twitter listing off some art portfolio sites, so I’m going to make the same post here. I don’t consider myself a professional artist and I’m not some sort of recruiter, but I’ve looked at enough portfolios in my 22 years to know what people are looking for when they make or review one.

A lot of us used tumblr to showcase our art, and it’s really upsetting to have them ruined by the flagging and post-rearranging issue. Even if some of the issues are fixed, a lot of us have old work showing as our newest and will have to fight with tumblr’s broken algorithm with every post.

I’m aiming these recommendations at fresher artists that need to display their artwork in a way that they can link for zine, college, and work applications, or just to have a homebase for their stuff. 
These are not tumblr replacements. It’s your headquarters. Your hub. All your info, links, and art can be there when social media fails to deliver.
